Woo-Yeong Park, MD, PhD

Woo-Yeong Park is a visiting scholar in Kelly Frazer’s lab at UCSD in 2022-2023, where his main research area is to identify the association between genetic variation and kidney phenotypes. He got his Master’s degree in Internal Medicine at Keimyung University School of Medicine in South Korea. After that, he acquired his PhD at Daegu Catholic University in South Korea, where he studied the recovery effect of antibiotics in acute kidney injury model. Currently, he is conducting various studies related to kidney transplant patients.
