David Jakubosky, B.S.

David is a graduate student in the Biomedical Sciences PhD program at the University of California, San Diego. David graduated from Northeastern University with a BS degree in Neuroscience in 2012 and joined the Frazer lab in June of 2015. During his undergraduate years he held several full-time “co-op” positions in biotech and industry working on projects related to analgesic drug discovery, medical devices, and mouse models of human cancers. After graduating, David worked as a research associate in cancer target biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, primarily utilizing large-scale shRNA depletion screening to identify promising new targets. Currently, David is most interested in data science and novel computational approaches to examining and understanding complex biological processes or pathologies.
